It's just a matter of time before AC Milan announces the arrival of Ricardo Rodriguez from Wolfsburg.

The Swiss defender arrived in Milan on Wednesday to undergo medical tests ahead of a transfer that will reportedly cost the Serie A side €15 million plus bonuses.

"I am delighted to be here - Forza Milan," Rodriguez told reporters, as translated by ESPN FC's Ben Gladwell, upon his arrival in Milan on Tuesday night.

The left-back made close to 150 appearances during his time in the Bundesliga, and has been capped by Switzerland 45 times.

The capture of Rodriguez will represent the third significant arrival at Milan since the season concluded as the Italian side works aggressively to improve a squad that finished sixth in the table last term.

Milan has already announced Franck Kessie's arrival on loan from Atalanta, as well as the capture of Mateo Musacchio from Villarreal in a deal that reportedly cost €18 million.
