Study suggests Kane, Alli worth more than Messi, Ronaldo
Tottenham is the proud owner of the most expensive duo in football, according to a recent sturdy.
The CIES Football Observatory published an extensive list of the estimated value of world's most expensive footballers, with the Spurs duo trailing just Neymar of Barcelona on a chart that also has the world's most expensive player, Paul Pogba, ranked seventh in the world in terms of value.
According to the study, Kane and Alli's combined worth of €308 million (£272 million) comfortably surpasses two of the sport's most iconic stars, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, whose combined value comes in at €253 million (£223 million).

An explanation on the CIES website read: "The exclusive CIES Football Observatory algorithm is based on the thorough analysis of almost 2,000 paying fee transfers. The variables through which transfer values are modelled notably include the performance of both players and employer clubs, international status, contract, age and position."
Elsewhere, there's no shortage of players on the list that could find themselves on the move this summer.
Clubs hoping to lure the likes of Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal, Kylian Mbappe of AS Monaco, or Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Borussia Dortmund will likely be forced to cough up transfer fees close to €100 million, as suggested by CIES.
