Juventus prodigy Kean, 17, joins Verona on season-long loan

Juventus has sent 17-year-old sensation Moise Kean to Hellas Verona on a season-long loan, with the hope that the teenage prodigy will get an extended run of Serie A minutes this season.

Kean set a trio of records last season with the Bianconeri: he became the first player born in 2000 to both feature and score a goal in Serie A, and then set the same mark by making an appearance in the Champions League.
But with Gonzalo Higuain and Mario Mandzukic ahead of him in the pecking order up front, it was inevitable that Kean, who has rocketed through the Juventus ranks, would be sent out for the 2017-18 season.
