Napoli's Ghoulam suffers suspected fractured kneecap in training

It's been one blow after another for SSC Napoli's top full-back.
Faouzi Ghoulam suffered a potentially serious knee injury in training Friday, with the early signs pointing to a fractured right kneecap. The Algerian left-back will undergo tests to ascertain the extent of the harm.
Ghoulam last played on the first day of November, when Napoli suffered a 4-2 defeat to Manchester City in the Champions League. The product of AS Saint-Etienne was replaced in the 31st minute after appearing to pull a muscle while stretching for the ball.
As a result, Ghoulam boasts just 11 Serie A appearances this season, in which he's tallied two goals and three assists.
