Report: Vidal to join Inter on free transfer after leaving Barcelona
Arturo Vidal is close to reuniting with manager Antonio Conte.
The Chilean is negotiating the termination of his contract at Barcelona and is expected to join Inter on a free transfer ahead of the 2020-21 campaign, according to The Guardian's Fabrizio Romano.
Vidal has already agreed to terms with Inter on a contract that will keep him in Milan until 2022, Romano adds.
New Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman said earlier in September that Vidal is not in his plans for the new season. The 33-year-old - along with Luis Suarez - was left off the squad list for Barcelona's friendly against Gimnastic on Saturday.
A move to Inter would see Vidal link up with Conte again after the two previously worked together at Juventus. They won three Serie A titles during their three years together with the Bianconeri.
Vidal left Juventus to join Bayern Munich in 2014 and spent three seasons in Germany before moving to Barcelona in 2018.
