A short-circuit in wiring sparked a dressing room fire at Italian club Empoli on Monday, delaying kick-off in their Serie A game against Lecce.
The start of the game in Tuscany was put back from 1630GMT by one hour for security reasons, the host club said.
Firemen arrived swiftly on the scene and resolved the issue without complications.
