Juventus director Beppe Marotta hits out at Inter Milan after Vucinic debacle
Juventus director Beppe Marotta is upset with Inter Milan after a proposed swap that would see Mirko Vucinic go to Inter for Fredy Guarin fell through.
Marotta's stern take was delivered at a press conference called to comment on the breakdown of the very public negotiations.
Marotta: The Vucinic-Guarin deal was verbally agreed by both parties. Agnelli received a text from Thohir at 10:48 confirming the deal.

Inter Milan owner Erick Thohir apparently had second thoughts about the deal.
Marotta: The main reason we called this press conference was the lack of respect shown towards two serious, professional footballers.

Marotta: My being here is a necessary act to protect Juventus and the professionals who have been treated unfairly.

While the deal is dead for now, Marotta explained it was up to Thohir to restart negotiations.
Marotta: If there are to be any future negotiations, Thohir will have to offer an explanation to Agnelli - beyond yesterday's statement.
