VIDEO: Balotelli in tears after being substituted against Napoli
It's been a tumultuous week for AC Milan forward Mario Balotelli.
The Italian international acknowledged he was the father of ex-girlfriend Raffaella Fico's child, Pia, on Wednesday.
Emotions appeared to get the best of Balotelli when he was subbed off during Milan's 3-1 loss at Napoli.
“We are players and there are times when we express ourselves that way," said manager Clarence Seedorf in an interview with Sky Sport Italia. "I see nothing wrong or abnormal in that. I experienced it at times too,”
“He too needs to grow in general. He played very well against Cagliari, while tonight perhaps didn’t make the most of the space. These are things we can all improve on and I’m happy he has so many areas to improve, as I can help him through that education.”
Balotelli didn't enjoy the best game, but you have to imagine there was more behind his reaction than frustration with Saturday's result.

There were reports following the contest that the tears were a result of racist abuse from Napoli supporters, but those proved to be erroneous, according to Football Italia.
