Southampton completes Saphir Taider/Dani Osvaldo swap with Inter
Southampton has endured a tumultuous off-season thus far, selling off no less than five key members of last year's squad, with reports swirling that another two - Jay Rodriguez and Morgan Schneiderlin - could still move despite the club's desire to hang on to the pair.
Wednesday, fans of the Saints were finally on the other end of the transfer dealings, as the club announced the signing of Algerian midfielder Saphir Taider from Inter on a season-long loan.

The deal sees striker Dani Osvaldo head the other way to the Italian capital.
Manager Ronald Koeman addressed the addition of the 22-year-old in a club statement:
It’s part of our philosophy for the club to bring in talented young players who like to learn and develop themselves, and that’s true of Saphir.
First of all, he is a talented football player. He’s 22 and has already played for Algeria at the World Cup.
I’ve spoken to him about the positions he can play in, and it was a good meeting because he showed me real ambition.
Meanwhile, the Italian side sent out the following photo on Instagram to confirm that they have indeed signed Johnny Depp's long-lost brother as part of the deal.
Both teams have an option to purchase their new players outright come the end of the season, though the respective fees required to make that happen were not released.
