Few players were as enjoyable to watch during the 1990s as Gabriel Batistuta was while featuring for Fiorentina.
The long-haired Argentine striker notched 168 goals in 269 appearances for the Italian club, winning the Serie B title in 1993-94 before hoisting the Coppa Italia in 1995-96. He also ranks 11th in all-time Serie A goals.
In what seems incredibly overdue, Tuesday saw Fiorentina induct Batistuta into their Hall of Fame, and after giving a heartwarming acceptance speech during which he reminisced upon his time with the Viola, things got emotional as he broke down into tears.
