Inter Milan signs Jonathan Biabiany to 4-year contract
Jonathan Biabiany is back at Inter Milan.
The club announced the signing of the French winger Friday, inking the 27-year-old to a four-year contract.
"It’s a pleasure to be back home," said Biabiany, who started his career with the club's youth academy eight years ago.
"The important thing is that I am healthy, then we’ll see about the rest. A four-year contract is a big deal, now I’ll try to get fit as soon as possible to show what I can do."
Biabiany was on the verge of a move to Inter's city rivals Milan last summer, but a heart issue was discovered during his medical, scuppering the deal and leading to a mutual decision with Parma, his club at the time, to terminate his deal and focus on his health.
Now back on the pitch, the Frenchman will look to help a revamped Inter side improve on last season's eighth-place finish.
