World Cup winner Alessandro Nesta appointed head coach of Miami FC
It's very much the Italian job at future North American Soccer League outfit Miami FC.
AC Milan and Italy legend Paolo Maldini is co-owner of the club, and has now hired his former club and international teammate Alessandro Nesta as head coach to oversee the building of the new club.

Nesta has experience in North American soccer from his 1 1/2 years with the Montreal Impact in Major League Soccer, and was unveiled by co-owner and international entrepreneur Riccardo Silva.
Maldini has called Miami his second home for over 15 years.
When the NASL confirmed Miami FC would join its league in 2016, Silva talked of his excitement of bringing the professional game to Miami, and having Maldini on board.
Soccer and international culture are a perfect combination - especially for the youth and future generations to come - and it is highly valuable having Paolo Maldini, who will bring his soccer knowledge and shares our vision and our passion.
Nesta retired from the professional game after playing three games under former international colleague Marco Materazzi for Chennaiyin of the Indian Super League. His role at Miami FC will be his first job in management.
