The captain of Albania's national team is heading to Ligue 1.
Nantes announced the signing of Lorik Cana from Lazio on Monday, as the 32-year-old centre-back put pen to paper on a two-year deal.
Cana, whose travels have seen him take the pitch at Paris Saint-Germain, Olympique Marseille, Sunderland, and Galatasaray, has been a semi-regular face in Lazio's backline since he joined the Italian club in 2011.
His last appearance in Ligue 1 came against the club he's joining.
At the international level, Cana is attempting to guide Albania to Euro 2016. The task seems possible given that the national team sits third in Group I, two points behind top-of-group Portugal but with a fixture in hand.
