Roma goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny suffered a hand injury as he made a save early in the second half against Barcelona on Wednesday.
Szczesny, who is on loan from Arsenal, initially blocked a shot from Lionel Messi and then jumped in front of a follow-up from Luis Suarez. It was the second attempt that appeared to hurt the left hand of the Polish goalkeeper.
The 38-year-old Morgan De Sanctis replaced Szczesny in the 50th minute.
