Inter Milan vs. Juventus sets new Serie A gate receipts record

The hype surrounding Sunday's fixture between Inter Milan and Juventus translated at the ticket booths, as the nearly 80,000 supporters in attendance combined to produce a new Serie A gate receipts record.

Inter announced Saturday that tickets on general sale for the match had sold out and the only way for supporters to view the game would be by purchasing a season ticket, which start at €199. Those who were fortunate enough to come across tickets beforehand paid between €28 and €427.
Supporters of Juventus paid €28 plus fees to attend the clash.
