AC Milan and Inter's hardcore supporters displayed typically dazzling choreography minutes before Sunday's city derby, with the former unravelling a tifo depicting a historic game-winning goal and the latter producing an epic lights show.

Mark Hateley's famous header in the 1984 derby remains a part of Milan folklore.

Inter's ultras opted to go with a simpler statement. Their banner reads: "I watch you and I take heart, you're more beautiful than a dream."

Milan, which has won just twice in 11 previous fixtures against its rival, is looking to improve its chances of Champions League football with a win. Inter, meanwhile, is hoping to get back into the Scudetto conversation.
