Loyal to the city

Lowry signed three contract extensions since arriving in 2012. His blossoming into a star mirrored the franchise's rise to relevance, as he worked his way from being Jose Calderon's backup to becoming the six-time All-Star he is today.

A true leader

It's easy to forget, but the most memorable run in Raptors history almost didn't happen. Lowry nearly got dealt to New York in 2013 before Knicks owner James Dolan vetoed the trade. Lowry bought into his situation in Toronto after that and developed into the organization's heart and soul.

Reaching the pinnacle

Lowry played a crucial role in delivering the team its first-ever championship in 2019. His 26-point, 10-assist masterpiece in the title-clinching Game 6 helped validate his place in Raptors history.
