Mariano Rivera

If voting ended today, Mo would become the first player to be unanimously inducted by the BBWAA. It's the first year on the ballot for MLB's all-time saves leader who is a five-time World Series champion and recently had the AL Reliever of the Year award named after him.

Roy Halladay

On his first year on the ballot, the late Phillies and Blue Jays ace seems destined for Cooperstown. Back in 2010, Halladay became the second pitcher in MLB history to throw a no-hitter in the postseason, and first in the NL.

Edgar Martinez

Regarded as one of the best designated hitters in history, Edgar is in his 10th and final year on the ballot, failing to gain enough support in previous years - despite retiring with a .933 OPS - due to his lack of a position.

Mike Mussina

Like his previous five years on the ballot, Mussina is on the fringe of induction, but early returns look promising this time around. Moose was never the best pitcher in baseball, but his 18-year career was remarkably steady. From 1992-2001, the right-hander finished in the top six of Cy Young voting a whopping eight times.
