Jared Cook ➡️ Saints

Cook was the best tight end available in free agency after his career year in 2018 (896 yards, six TDs). The Saints filled a need, landing the Pro Bowler on a two-year deal worth $15.5 million. That's just the 17th-richest contract among tight ends.

Eric Weddle ➡️ Rams

The defending NFC champion Rams swapped out Lamarcus Joyner for a two-time All-Pro safety at the bargain price of two years and $10.5 million. Still productive, Weddle has made the Pro Bowl the past three years.

Mark Ingram ➡️ Ravens

Ingram finally gets to be the man, and the Ravens end their long-standing lead-back questions. At three years and $15 million, Ingram is less of a bargain than Tevin Coleman, who signed with the 49ers for two years and $10 million, but he'll play more.

Justin Houston➡️ Colts

Patience paid off for the Colts. Indy waited until the second week of free agency to nab Houston, getting the veteran pass-rusher for two years and $24 million. The Colts will gladly pay that for a player who's recorded 18.5 sacks the last two years.

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix ➡️ Bears

While safeties were cashing in, the Bears stealthily signed 26-year-old Clinton-Dix for one year and $3 million. He'll have the opportunity to thrive on the prove-it deal with playmakers in Chicago's secondary surrounding him, and Khalil Mack's pass-rushing exploits up front.
