A reunion between Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho and Borussia Dortmund is in the works.
The German club is negotiating a deal with Manchester United to sign the English winger on loan, according to David Ornstein of The Athletic.
It's unknown how much of Sancho's lucrative contract Dortmund are willing to cover.
Sancho hasn't played for Manchester United since August after he refused to apologize to Red Devils head coach Erik ten Hag following a disagreement that led to him being benched.
After Ten Hag's criticism of Sancho, the 23-year-old said he'd been made "a scapegoat," alluding to criticism he's faced after he struggled to live up to the lucrative transfer fee United paid Dortmund for him in 2021.
Despite the public fallout with Ten Hag, Dortmund are reportedly eager to bring Sancho back to the Westfalenstadion.
Sancho evolved into a star during his four-year spell at Dortmund, winning the German Supercup and DFB-Pokal before leaving for a fee reportedly worth €85 million.
Sancho, who's been training away from United's first team since September, has 12 goals in 82 appearances for the Red Devils.
