Manchester City fought back to beat Newcastle United 3-2 thanks to Oscar Bobb's dramatic winning goal in stoppage time at St James' Park on Saturday.
Along with the 20-year-old, Kevin De Bruyne was instrumental in the comeback victory.
The Belgian midfielder scored to bring the match level before setting up the winning goal, delivering a perfect pass to Bobb, who expertly dribbled around Newcastle 'keeper Martin Dubravka in the 91st minute to record his first Premier League goal.
Newcastle played well enough to earn a point. After Bernardo Silva's superb opening goal, the Magpies responded quickly with a pair of quality goals to take a lead into halftime.
But, despite looking lively on the counterattack, Eddie Howe's squad -which is missing several key players amid an injury crisis - appeared to be running on fumes in the second half after facing wave after wave of attacking advances from the visitors before succumbing to defeat.
The win lifts Pep Guardiola's side into second place with 43 points after 20 games, two points back of leaders Liverpool.
