Liverpool's Benteke recovers from knee injury ahead of Villarreal clash
Christian Benteke has recovered from a knee injury in time to be included in manager Jurgen Klopp's team ahead of Liverpool's Europa League clash with Villarreal.
The Belgian forward has traveled with teammates to Spain, according to Sky Sports, as he looks to make his first appearance for Liverpool since March when he injured ligaments in his knee.
His possible availability could see Klopp name Benteke to the bench for Thursday's semi-final.
Benteke injured his knee while on international duty, and hasn't appeared in a match since March 20 when Liverpool defeated Southampton.
His return will be a welcome sight, considering Divock Origi will be out for a significant period after sustaining a nasty injury during the Merseyside derby on April 20.
