The 24-year-old winger moved to Vicarage Road from AZ Alkmaar last summer, and now returns to the Netherlands with Feyenoord, where he'll work under former Arsenal and Barcelona full-back-cum-midfielder Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
The Rotterdam club is poised to compete in the Europa League in 2016-17, and is also striving to better its third-placed finish in the Eredivisie last term. It kicks off its competitive action at FC Groningen next Sunday.
