Brussels, Feb 16, 2021 (AFP) - Under-21s boss Rik De Mil will be in charge of Club Brugge's Europa League visit to Dynamo Kiev this week after the entire first-team coaching staff, as well as a player, contracted Covid-19, the club said on Tuesday.
"Head coach Philippe Clement and his assistants all tested positive," the Belgian champions announced on their website, adding they will quarantine.
Mil and his assistant Tim Smolders will take over the team for Thursday's last 32 first leg tie in Ukraine.
The outfit were already without two players, Stefano Denswil and Matej Mitrovic who had tested positive and said on Tuesday they lost a third, Hans Vanaken.
"All players and staff members who tested positive are now in quarantine."
