Zenit St. Petersburg fell short in their attempt to advance to the semifinals of the Europa League, but there was a brief moment where it looked like they were set to dethrone Sevilla, the reigning champions.

Trailing 3-2 on aggregate, Hulk produced a mesmerizing moment in the 72nd minute of Thursday's second leg, when he saw that 'keeper Beto was off his line and proceeded to launch a 40-yard chip off the crossbar and just barely over the goal line.

The goal would have been enough to send Zenit through on away goals had super-sub Kevin Gameiro not scored in the 85th minute.
