VIDEO: Ivan Cavaleiro scores freak goal after charging 'keeper
AS Monaco was only able to escape Azerbaijan with one point, but it could have been worse were it not for a chance occurrence.
Visiting Qarabag as part of Thursday's Europa League action, Monaco was on the verge of a humiliating defeat until the 72nd minute, when Ivan Cavaleiro charged towards 'keeper Ibrahim Sehic and, after appearing to have lost the one-on-one battle, watched Sehic's clearance deflect off his legs and into the back of the net as he tumbled to the ground.
Qarabag 1, Monaco 1.
It should come as no surprise that Cavaleiro scored only 14 minutes after he had taken the pitch ...
