Luis Enrique named FIFA World Coach of the Year for Men's Football
Having added five pieces of silverware to Barcelona's trophy cabinet during his first full calendar year as manager of the Catalan club, Luis Enrique is adding an award to the mantelpiece at his house.
At FIFA's Ballon d'Or gala on Monday, Enrique was named FIFA World Coach of the Year for Men's Football, beating out Pep Guardiola of Bayern Munich and Jorge Sampaoli of Chile's national team.

Enrique, who didn't attend the awards ceremony, received 31.08 percent of all votes after guiding Barcelona to the Treble during its 2014-15 adventure, as the Blaugrana tasted glory in the Champions League, La Liga, and the Copa del Rey. He subsequently steered the club to its fifth UEFA Super Cup title before ending the calendar year by capturing the team's third Club World Cup crown.
Roberto Martinez collected the award on Enrique's behalf, and dedicated it to Barcelona's coaching staff.
