Tottenham forward Harry Kane has reportedly been dropped from Mauricio Pochettino's squad ahead of a Europa League Round of 32 clash against Fiorentina after breaking his nose in an FA Cup match against Crystal Palace.
Initially, Kane was reportedly set to take part in the second-leg tie while wearing a protective face mask, but Sky Sports reports that the English striker will miss the match entirely after sitting out training Wednesday morning.
Pochettino is expecting Kane to return for the team's next Premier League fixture against Swansea, Sky Sports reports.
"We expect and hope he will be available on Sunday. Today he wasn't here as he is seeing a specialist about his nose," Pochettino said.
