Sage to leave Ligue 1 club Lens: source

Pierre Sage is poised to step down as Lens coach, a source close to the Ligue 1 club told AFP on Wednesday, amid reports he is set to take over at Crystal Palace.

Sage led Lens to a second-placed finish this season behind Paris Saint-Germain and the club's first French Cup triumph in its 120-year history.

The 47-year-old spent just one season at Lens, with his only other top-level coaching stint at Lyon.

According to French media, he could move to the Premier League to replace Oliver Glasner at Palace.
