Lorenzo Insigne could be back in action sooner than initially expected.

Toronto FC head coach Bob Bradley allayed fears Thursday over a long-term spell on the sidelines for Insigne by telling reporters that he doesn't expect him to miss too much time, according to Neil Davidson of The Canadian Press.

Additionally, the Italian is questionable for Saturday's game at Atlanta United. He managed to train briefly Thursday after leaving last weekend's loss to D.C. United with a seemingly serious non-contact injury.

In the debut match of his first full Major League Soccer season, Insigne limped off the pitch in the 34th minute against D.C. United after suffering a lower-leg injury while chasing after the ball. TFC lost the contest 3-2.

Insigne scored six goals in 11 regular games after joining TFC from Napoli on a free transfer last summer.
