Inter Milan are advancing in discussions to bring Tajon Buchanan to Serie A, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.
The Nerazzurri have been linked with the Canadian for some time and apparently view him as an ideal replacement for Juan Cuadrado, who has dealt with Achilles issues since joining Inter last summer.
Buchanan is expected to cost around €7 million to €8 million to sign from Club Brugge, Sky Sport Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio reported last week.
The 24-year-old has mostly played at right-back this season, contributing three goals and three assists through his commitments in Belgium's top flight and the Conference League. Buchanan initially made his name as a winger for Major League Soccer's New England Revolution and still regularly appears in attacking positions for Canada.
