New Canada men's national team head coach Jesse Marsch unveiled his first squad since taking charge earlier this month.
The American unveiled the 26-man roster Monday that will be available for a pair of pre-Copa America friendlies against European giants the Netherlands and France next month.
"I am extremely excited to get these players into camp together," Marsch, who was hired May 13, said in a statement. "I have had many discussions with the players over the last weeks and it is clear that we have an exceptional group of men playing for this country.
"Now the work gets started for us all to come together to become the team that we know this country deserves."
Marsch's selections are largely similar to the 23-man squad that former interim coach Mauro Biello named ahead of Canada's last game in March against Trinidad & Tobago, save three changes.
Familiar faces, such as Jonathan David, Alphonso Davies, and Tajon Buchanan were included, while veteran goalkeeper Milan Borjan, defender Steven Vitoria, and midfielder Mark-Anthony Kaye were among the notable omissions.
Canada - ranked 49th in the world by FIFA - takes on seventh-ranked Netherlands on June 6 before clashing with two-time World Cup winner and world No. 2 France three days later.
Canada's first Copa America group stage game is against Argentina on June 20.
