Jinder Mahal retains WWE Championship over Nakamura at SummerSlam
The Singh Brothers continue to pay dividends for The Modern Day Maharajah.
Jinder Mahal escaped SummerSlam on Sunday with his WWE Championship still in tow, defeating The Artist known as Shinsuke Nakamura in one of the night's main events.

Nakamura appeared to be closing in on his first WWE Championship win late, setting up Mahal for his running knee, The Kinshasa. In an effort to keep that from happening, Samir Singh got up on the apron, only to be brought in by Nakamura. Sunil Singh also entered the fray, but was met with fists and elbows as a result.

Their distraction created enough of a diversion for Mahal to come from behind and drop Nakamura on the back of his head with his cobra clutch slam, The Khallas. The referee counted Nakamura's shoulders down, and Mahal was declared the victor.
