Russia can thank goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky for its 4-3 victory over the Czech Republic on Thursday.

The Russians held on to the one-goal victory thanks in large part to a show-stopping pad save by Bobrovsky, who - with just over a minute left in regulation - robbed Montreal Canadiens forward Tomas Plekanec on a 2-on-1 break.
In all, Bobrovsky steered away 29 of the 32 shots he faced. Both clubs will square off again on Saturday for their second tune-up contest.
