New York City FC fans, eat your hearts out. Andrea Pirlo isn't the only midfield man who can score from a dead ball.
Alexander Ring proved he's learned a thing or two from the Italian free-kick maestro, scoring a superb goal from about 30 yards out to open the scoring for Finland in a World Cup qualifying match against Iceland.
It's his second goal in 44 international appearance but as it stands, Finland remains out of a World Cup spot sitting fifth in Group I, while Iceland hangs on to the second spot tied with Croatia at 13 points.
