Rasmus Sandin will represent his home country once again at the upcoming World Junior Hockey Championship.
The Toronto Maple Leafs loaned the defensive prospect to the Swedish national team for the tournament, the NHL club announced Sunday.
Sandin has collected 12 points in 18 games with the AHL's Toronto Marlies this season. He posted a pair of assists in six contests with the Maple Leafs at the start of the campaign.
The 19-year-old, who notched two goals and two assists for Sweden at the previous world junior tourney, will represent the nation for the fourth time in his career.
Toronto selected Sandin 29th overall in the 2018 draft.
