World juniors quarterfinal matchups set

The United States decidedly beat Sweden on Thursday evening, concluding the round-robin portion of the 2021 world juniors and setting up the quarterfinal-round schedule.
Here's how the eight teams will square off in the single-elimination format. All four games will occur Saturday, Jan. 2.

Canada was the lone team to go undefeated in the round robin, winning all four of its games to take Group A. The United States earned the top spot in Group B with a 3-0-0-1 record.
The four squads that advance to the semifinals will get one day off before returning to the ice on Jan. 4.
