The Minnesota Lynx have reportedly reached agreements with three impact free agents.

Former Washington Mystics guard Aerial Powers has agreed to a contract with Minnesota, Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes reports. Additionally, a source told The Associated Press' Doug Feinberg that Indiana Fever big Natalie Achonwa will join the Lynx too.

Powers confirmed the impending signing, writing "Let’s get another championship bayyyybeeee!!" in response to Haynes' report.

The news comes a day after three-time Las Vegas Aces All-Star Kayla McBride announced she's also joining coach Cheryl Reeve's squad in the Twin Cities.

"After talking with coach Reeve and the Minnesota staff, I know this is where I'm going to take my game to the next level," McBride told WSlam on Wednesday. "And I know a lot of people are counting me out or doubting me ... and I cannot F'N wait."

The players can officially sign their deals on Feb. 1.

Here's how the incoming Lynx players performed in 2020:

NAME PTS REB AST FG% 3P%
Achonwa 7.8 5.5 1.7 49.6 N/A
McBride 12.5 2.3 2.4 42.5 34.2
Powers 16.3 4.8 2.5 46.4 34.6

McBride, Powers, and Achonwa join a club that finished fourth in the WNBA standings during the pandemic-shortened 2020 season.

Minnesota already boasts a core featuring the two most recent Rookie of the Year winners in forward Napheesa Collier and guard Crystal Dangerfield. Sylvia Fowles, a six-time All-Star and the 2017 league MVP, also remains in the fold, though injuries limited the now-35-year-old center to just seven appearances last year.
