Full 2021 WNBA Draft results: Wings go big, Guirantes slides to Sparks
The 2021 WNBA Draft is in the books, with the Dallas Wings selecting Texas junior Charli Collier and Finnish teenager Awak Kuier back-to-back with the first two picks.
At No. 3, the Atlanta Dream took NCAA Tournament standout Aari McDonald. The Indiana Fever then threw draft analysts' expectations out the window by choosing West Virginia's Kysre Gondrezick with the fourth pick, setting off a run of surprising first-round choices.
A number of big-name players slid, including Tennessee's Rennia Davis, who went to the Minnesota Lynx at No. 9. Fellow projected mid-first-rounder Arella Guirantes fell all the way to the Los Angeles Sparks at No. 22.
