Candace Parker inks multi-year NBA analyst deal with Turner Sports
Candace Parker's big week continues.
Following single-elimination wins over the Dallas Wings and Minnesota Lynx in the WNBA playoffs in recent days, the 35-year-old Chicago Sky star signed a multi-year extension with Turner Sports, her offseason home in recent years, to contribute as an in-studio analyst.
"Candace brings a passionate player perspective to every telecast and marries it with a grace and style that keeps viewers entertained and engaged at every turn," Turner Sports executive Tara August said in a statement.
Parker has become a staple on Tuesday's NBA on TNT panel show, where her head-to-head debates with fellow hoops icon Shaquille O'Neal have led to more than a few viral moments.

In her first campaign with the Sky, following 13 seasons with the Los Angeles Sparks, Parker put up 13.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, four assists, and 1.2 blocks in 26.7 minutes per game. Game 1 of Chicago's semifinal series versus the Connecticut Sun tips off Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET.
