Big Mama is headed for the Big Apple.
Veteran big Stefanie Dolson has agreed to a multi-year contract with the New York Liberty, sources told The Athletic's Chantel Jennings.
A native of New York state, Dolson has spent the past five seasons with the Chicago Sky. The 30-year-old won her first WNBA title and a gold medal in the inaugural Olympic 3x3 tournament in 2021.
The floor-spacing center has seen her playing time wane over the past two seasons. Dolson averaged 7.5 points while shooting 52.5% on 2-pointers and 40.4% from deep in 2021, adding 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 20 minutes per game.
The 6-foot-5 UConn product was an All-Star in 2015 and 2017.
