Candace Parker isn't yet sure whether she'll be back for a 16th WNBA season.

Following the Chicago Sky's Game 5 loss to the Connecticut Sun in the WNBA semifinals - which ended Chicago's title defense - Parker was noncommittal about her future.

"Just like I do every season, I'm going to go back and re-evaluate whether I'm able to continue to play at the level that I hold myself to," Parker said postgame. "And I think that's the biggest thing, I don't ever want to cheat the game. I won't cheat the game.

"So when I'm not able to go out and play and be the Candace that I want to be, I won't play."

Parker struggled offensively in Chicago's final two playoff games, scoring a combined 18 points on 5-of-16 shooting in Games 4 and 5 as the Sun bested the Sky in both contests.

The 36-year-old enters free agency following two seasons in Chicago.

Parker was named an All-Star in 2022 for the second straight year, averaging 13.2 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game in the regular season. The two-time WNBA MVP spent 13 seasons with the Los Angeles Sparks before signing with the Sky.
