Sparks' Brink tears ACL in loss to Sun
Los Angeles Sparks rookie forward Cameron Brink sustained a torn left ACL in her team's 79-70 loss to the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday, the team announced.
The Sparks will provide details about Brink's recovery timeline at a later date.
Brink was carried to the locker room after slipping awkwardly on a drive to the basket.

The Sparks drafted the Stanford star second overall in April. In 15 games, she averaged 7.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.3 blocks, 1.7 assists, and 1.1 steals.
Brink was named to the USA's 3x3 Olympic team along with Atlanta Dream guard Rhyne Howard, TCU guard Hailey Van Lith, and former Seattle Storm forward Cierra Burdick.
Los Angeles sits 10th in the WNBA standings with a 4-11 record.
