Wilson, Clark lead WNBA All-Star 1st returns

Las Vegas Aces star A'ja Wilson and Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark were the top two vote-getters in the first returns for the WNBA All-Star Game.

Both players received over 200,000 votes.

Fan voting closes on June 29.

This season's format features All-Stars that were named to Team USA for the 2024 Paris Olympics competing against the players that were not chosen, who will make up Team WNBA. The league used the same format for the 2021 game.

Wilson is averaging 27.9 points, 11.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 2.5 blocks, and 1.8 steals over the first 13 games of the season. Meanwhile, Clark is averaging 16.3 points, 6.2 assists, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.4 steals in her rookie campaign.

The WNBA All-Star games takes place on July 20 at the Footprint Center in Phoenix.
