Clark, Wilson headline All-WNBA 1st team
Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark was named to the 2024 All-WNBA first team, the league announced Tuesday.
Clark, who received 52 of 67 possible first-team votes, joins Las Vegas Aces star and reigning MVP A'ja Wilson, Connecticut Sun forward Alyssa Thomas, and opposing Finals competitors Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty, and Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx.
Collier and Wilson were both unanimous selections, while Stewart received 65 of 67 first-team votes. Clark becomes the first rookie to make the first team since Candace Parker in 2008.
The league also announced the All-WNBA second team, which includes the Liberty's Sabrina Ionescu and Jonquel Jones, Kahleah Copper of the Phoenix Mercury, Seattle Storm forward Nneka Ogwumike, and Dallas Wings top scorer Arike Ogunbowale.
It's the seventh All-WNBA honor for Stewart and Ogwumike, the most for any of the 10 players selected in 2024.
