Liberty coach Sandy Brondello expressed her unhappiness with the officiating in New York's 82-80 loss in Game 4 of the WNBA Finals to the Minnesota Lynx on Friday.

"We got no calls today, so do I need to talk up in a press conference?" Brondello said postgame. "They were getting ticky-tack (fouls), and we went down there and got hit and got nothing."

The Liberty committed 14 fouls, compared to nine for the Lynx. Minnesota went 15-of-20 from the free-throw line, while New York made all nine of its attempts.

Officials called a shooting foul on Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu with two seconds remaining in the contest, which allowed Lynx forward Bridget Carleton to break the tie game with a pair of free throws and even up the Finals at two wins apiece.

"All we want is fair. If we're getting hit, that's a foul," Brondello said. "I'm one of the nicest bloody coaches in this league, but this pisses me off. Just be fair."

There were 14 lead changes and 13 ties over the course of the game, with neither team leading by more than six points.

The Finals now pivots to a decisive Game 5 in New York on Sunday.
