Report: Fever sign Natasha Howard
The Indiana Fever will sign two-time All-Star and three-time WNBA champion Natasha Howard in free agency, sources told ESPN's Alexa Philippou.
Howard, 33, returns to the franchise that drafted her fifth overall in 2014. She shared her excitement on X.
The 6-foot-2 forward played the 2014-15 seasons with the Fever before stops with the Minnesota Lynx, Seattle Storm, New York Liberty, and Dallas Wings.
Howard won her first title in 2017 with the Lynx and her other two in Seattle in 2018 and 2020. In 2018, she was crowned Most Improved Player, and in 2019, she received the Defensive Player of the Year award as well as All-WNBA first-team honors.
She's also been named to the All-Defensive first team twice (2018, 2019).
Howard averaged 17.6 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.3 steals for the Wings in 2024.
The Fever re-signed All-Star guard Kelsey Mitchell earlier this week. Indiana's backcourt also boasts the last two Rookie of the Year winners, Aliyah Boston and Caitlin Clark.
