Ogwumike re-signing with Storm

Nneka Ogwumike is re-signing with the Seattle Storm, her sister Chiney announced Friday on ESPN.

Ogwumike averaged 16.7 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.9 steals last season. She made her ninth All-Star Game and was named to the All-WNBA second team and All-Defensive second team.
She spent the first 12 seasons of her career with the Los Angeles Sparks, winning Rookie of the Year in 2012, as well as an MVP and championship in 2016.
The Storm finished with a 25-15 record last season. They were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by the Las Vegas Aces.
