The Minnesota Lynx acquired Karlie Samuelson from the Washington Mystics for their first-round pick in the 2026 draft, the teams announced Monday.
Samuelson is coming off a breakout season in which she averaged a career-high 8.4 points across 29 games. The 29-year-old also posted 2.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game while shooting 39.8% from three.
The Lynx will mark the sixth team Samuelson has played for in her career. She previously suited up with the Los Angeles Sparks, Dallas Wings, Seattle Storm, and Phoenix Mercury.
Minnesota acquired an extra 2026 first-round selection from the Chicago Sky on Sunday in exchange for the No. 11 pick in Monday's WNBA draft.
