Washington Mystics rookie Georgia Amoore suffered a right ACL injury during practice, the team announced Wednesday.
Amoore and the Mystics will examine treatment and rehabilitation options.
Washington drafted the former Virginia Tech and Kentucky guard with the sixth pick in the WNBA draft earlier in April.
Amoore averaged 19.6 points, 6.9 assists, 2.3 rebounds, and a steal for the Wildcats last campaign.
The Mystics drafted three players in the first round. Notre Dame guard Sonia Citron was selected third overall and USC forward Kiki Iriafen was the next selection.
Washington finished with a 14-26 record last season and missed out on the playoffs.
